Anchors Aweigh (Musical, 1945)

This musical is Paula Abdul's favorite, as I learned from E! She loved this musical, because of all the dancing involved. I did not share Abdul's enthusiasm however. I was not impressed by any of the music. It was a cute little musical with a cute plot. It had a cute little boy who dreamed about becoming a sailor someday, and then miraculously his Aunt falls and love with a sailor. Cheesy story, but go figure! :-)
