Legally Blonde 2 -- Red, White, and Blonde (2003)

Starring: Reese Witherspoon

Since I enjoyed the first Legally Blonde, anticipation was felt for months before the actual release in the theaters. Unfortunately, like most sequels the original writers wanted nothing toLegally Blonde 2 do with writing a sequel to a hilarious blockbuster! Surprise! Surprise! So this film is pale in comparison to a phenomenally-funny movie. The first film came out just as I was beginning law school, so I had extra insights into what Ele Woods was going through. I loved the plot that told the story about this stupid blonde, who changes the world through lobbying. A few funny parts -- it seems interesting how modern movies always have some punchlines about homosexuals -- be it homosexual dogs or kissing lesbians. I believe this to be a sign of the times. The writers were trying to hard to promote their liberal, animal-rights agenda, which I don't support. Disappointment! :-)
