Holiday Inn (1942 Musical)

Starring: Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, and Marjorie Reynolds

I remember why I do not care for Bing Crosby. His voice is too dry and boring. This musical was cute, but not worth the time. Cheessy dancing, lame music and lyrics, stupid plot! Two Brothers bickering over one girl. And if I were Linda Mason, I would have chosen Fred Astaire, because he is so much more good-looking compared to his brother played by Bing Crosby. Furthermore, I like his singing tecnique better, he's got it all. Ted Harris can sing, as well as dance, contrary to the lyrics. This musical had boring songs. "Abraham" was all right -- the tempo is addictive and memorable. Yet, the rest of the songs were just mediocre. Okay musical! Okay movie! :-)
