This is your typical Doris Day movie concerning some trivial marital arguments. The Boyers are such a cute couple who are having difficulties because Mrs. Boyer has been offered a great job, but her husband already brings home enough money, so he  thinks she should stay home with the growing children. Nowadays, the femininists would have a field day debating about the validity of this argument. After all, the Boyers have a maid. Why can't Mrs. Boyer pursue her career goals while she raises her children at the same time? But what can you expect from a male dominated film industry? Cute movie! :-)
